DiGi iPhone 4 Life

Hi folks!

Yey!!! I WON...I WON...I WON!!! YIPPEE...YEY!
Hehe..Law of Attraction, now I am envisioning myself as the Winner of the iPhone 4 from DiGi! And here is the DiGi mascot sending me my iPhone 4 prize....

Hehe...my first telco when I was in college was DiGi. I simply love the fun, creative and sporty image projected by the DiGi. Not to forget DiGi always "fresh" in their ideas especially in their phone packages. Value for money and affordable!

Now, I am starting to recite the mantra ...”DiGi iPhone 4 me... DiGi iPhone 4 me... DiGiiPhone 4 me... DiGi iPhone 4 me.......YES!!!” Will you recite along with me ...”DiGi iPhone 4 Molly... DiGi iPhone 4 Molly... ...DiGi iPhone 4 Molly..." hehe...

"Once an iPhone user, always an iPhone user”. iPhone sticks with me for Life! So is DiGi!

Cheers from iPhone Family specially to DiGi!

DiGi iPhone 4 Real

Hi folks!

When DH first got his iPhone 3G, 16GB from Hong Kong in early Jan 2009 (it was not sold in Malaysia then), he’s so happy trying out his new “toy”.

However, little did he knew that; the 3G function was automatically switched on by his telco. And for merely trying out the 3G for mere 3-4 days during Chinese New Year, his data charges reached astonishing MYR700++ (see the bill below!!).

And I believe he is not the only one who was caught by surprise by it! His colleague, unknowing user like him, was charged almost the same amount too! Even though we were given rebate, but we felt cheated then! It is an insane charges, seriously!

So when we see DiGi Plan (see picture below), we are immediately smitten by it! It is not only reasonable and very affordable as well, even for my brother who has just step into working world!

DiGi "iGet no bill shock after exceeding monthly quota" deal really wins me over! At least I don't have to suffer from "heart attack" or am I be so afraid to switch on my 3G for fear of the alarming cost it might occur!

Now, if you are interested to get one too, why not hop over to DiGi website now!

SEEING IS BELIEVING!

Cheers from iPhone Family!

DiGi iPhone 4 Play

Hi folks!

I like to share with you my family fascination with iPhone apps. And as what my hubby said to my brother few days ago, " Once an iPhone user, always an iPhone user"; cos you won't fall in love in the other phones anymore :P.

Before I receive an iPhone 3G(the 1st generation, only 8GB) from hubby as birthday gift, I never thought of changing my 3 year-old phone. Not until the phone malfunction which gave me a reason to scout for a new workable phone. Of course, being in the hype of iPhone craze then and being such a great Apple fan my DH is.....he recommended iPhone and kept showing me those useful application(or apps) that I could use for my blogging, for my work and for my leisure.

Now, almost 2 years now, I can't live without my iPhone..it seems.. :P not even my kids. It's their daily night ritual to play the apps/games on the iPhone before they can fall to zzz--land.

If I were to name the app which I love most...there are not ONE but lotsss....long long list as there are new apps being developed every single day!!

But one particular one which my kids and I are crazy about...if you refer to "iPhone 4 Play", that is FRAME Wiz!

Check out some cute pictures created by KY, Shone and I ;)
This is created by me :)

This is created by my 4-year-old daughter, KY

This is created by my 2-year-old son, Shone
We had so much fun playing with it!!

By the way for those who do not know, we can download the Apps from the Apple iTunes App Store; some are free and some are with minimal fees...do check it out yourself if you are interested to find out more!

DiGi iPhone 4 Me

Hi folks!

Ever since DH got his iPhone 4 last few weeks from S'pore, he's been showing me(and many others :P so- call spreading the iPhone 4 virus, as my sister said!!) the great features of this new iPhone 4.

Now that the IPhone 4 has finally reach Malaysia shore, my brother got his iPhone 4 on the first day Digi launches it!!!

So on the night itself, 24 September, 2010, we had a FaceTime session with him together with my dad who came over to help me to take care of my two kids who are down with HFM. This kind of make up to him as we did not manage to bring my dad to visit my brother that weekend as promised because my kids are still under incubation period for Hand Foot Mouth.

Now, I really want an iPhone 4 from DiGi now because:

D- Digi’s telco plan and phone packages is the BEST!!

Well-known to be more affordable, cost-effective (the unlimited broadband access unlike the other competitor’s package) and fair.

I- It takes TWO (iPhone 4) to Tango!!!

Am largely-smitten by the FaceTime over wireless feature on IPhone 4!!! However, at this moment, it can only be done if I also own an iPhone 4!!!! :)

Now, if I win an iPhone 4 from Digi, my son can FaceTime with his dad every night. He would not need to hold his old iPhone and sleep on the sofa to wait for his dad to return from work daily.

G- Great HD video

iPhone 4 is able to record and play back 720p high-definition videos plus the iMovie application from Apple specifically for iPhone 4 makes it such a breeze to create a movie and pass it to my parents and in-laws.

This is one plus feature that makes my crave for iPhone 4. With it, I could capture the lovely moments with my kids anywhere, anywhere, anytime! Plus I can upload on my blog too :) to share the magic moments...

I - The IN thing to have

When mention about IN mobile to own, it has to be iPhone 4.

When mention about IN telco to sign with, it has to be DiGi!

Here I am dreaming to own an iPhone 4..will Digi grant my wish??? Please :D

+

So, pray that I will win an iPhone 4 from Digi. We'll be one Happy iPhone family.. :D

Cheers and May Lady Luck Smiles on us!!

Vaccine for HFM on the way?

Hi folks!

When my two kids are down with HFM(again!!) this week, I cannot help but ask the doctor....."Is there no vaccine available for HFM?"
" Aren't there any ways we could prevent it?", " Why they are not immuned to it after caught it once?"

All these questions came to me. Am feeling rather upset that they caught it yet again....and praying hard it will not be as bad and will move away quickly.

This morning, having read a news that a Malaysia-based biotech company is set to develop a vaccine in eight years for the EV71 virus, which causes the infectious and potentially fatal hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD); I am REALLY RELIEVED and HAPPY!! hopefully this co. will come out with something to help us parent to relieve our fear and the pain faced by children during HFM.

For more details about this news, go to TheStar Online here.

(By the way, thanks for all your good wishes, KY has now recovered well, I can hear her singing her favourite song< "Nobody" by Wondergirl last night; wheras Shone is still under painful episodes right now. Normally the pain will subside only after 3 days, so let's hope tonight I can hear some happy tune from Shone...PRAY HARD ....)

Cheers!

IPhone 4 reaches Malaysia!

Hi folks!
If you are Apple fan, bet you would knew the news by now!
Maxis and DiGi start selling iPhone 4 from today onwards!
Digi is keeping its price under wrap until 6pm yesterday while Maxis held a grand launching ceremony of the much awaited iPhone 4 at midnight yesterday.
Ever since getting hold of his IPhone 4 last 2 weeks, DH been showing me the "Facetime" feature which is one attractive feature we both like! It shows something like video conferencing but using wifi. But, we need to have two IPhone 4 in order to enjoy such conferencing daily with him when he is away at work...the kids would definitely love this feature!
So guys and gals..what are you waiting for?

A True Story.... (as the title goes to this story I received in my mailbox yesterday...)

A woman baked chapati for members of her family and an extra one for a hungry passerby. She kept the extra chapati on the window sill, for whosoever would take it away. Everyday, a hunchback came and took away the chapati. Instead of expressing gratitude, he muttered the following words as he went his way: "The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!" This went on, day after day. Everyday, the hunchback came, picked up the chapati and uttered the words: "The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!"  The woman felt irritated. "Not a word of gratitude," she said to herself...

"Everyday this hunchback utters this jingle! What does he mean?"  One day, exasperated, she decided to do away with him. "I shall get rid of this hunchback," she said. And what did she do? She added poison to the chapatti she prepared for him! As she was about to keep it on the window sill, her hands trembled. "What is this I am doing?" she said.  Immediately, she threw the chapati into the fire, prepared another one and kept it on the window sill. As usual, the hunchback came, picked up the chapati and muttered the words: "The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!" The hunchback proceeded on his way, blissfully unaware of the war raging in the mind of the woman.

Everyday, as the woman placed the chapati on the window sill, she offered a prayer for her son who had gone to a distant place to seek his fortune. For many months, she had no news of him.. She prayed for his safe return. That evening, there was a knock on the door. As she opened it, she was surprised to find her son standing in the doorway.  He had grown thin and lean. His garments were tattered and torn. He was hungry, starved and weak. As he saw his mother, he said, "Mom, it's a miracle I'm here. While I was but a mile away, I was so famished that I collapsed. I would have died, but just then an old hunchback passed by. I begged of him for a morsel of food, and he was kind enough to give me a whole chapati. As he gave it to me, he said, "This is what I eat everyday: today, I shall give it to you, for your need is greater than mine!" " As the mother heard those words, her face turned pale.

She leaned against the door for support. She remembered the poisoned chapati that she had made that morning. Had she not burnt it in the fire, it would have been eaten by her own son, and he would have lost his life! It was then that she realized the significance of the words: "The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!"  Do good and  Don't ever stop doing good, even if it's not appreciated at that time.

If you like this, share it with others and I bet you so many lives would be touched.

Have a wonderful day.

New Toy and Yummy Food

Hi folks!

After DH got his "toy"(see from the pic to guess what his "toy" is) yesterday, we went to to the vegetarian restaurant MG Cafe (see my winning entry here at TheStar, Food Trail Column) again....for dinner and for DH to celebrate...haha..for finally getting his toy after one month wait...

And here's some picture of Shone, giving thumbs-up to the Vegetarian Tuna pizza, as well as KY, enjoying her yummy rice..opps forgot the name. The rice is so nice so that we had to order a second bowl. And before we left, KY wanted to buy her favourite "biscuit" or "peng" she called it. MG Cafe has so many yummy and healthy variety("eggless") of moocake...saw yummylicious durian mooncake :P price range between MYR9.50-MYR13.50. Check it out yourself at MGCafe if you are planning to get some healthy mooncake giftset for your family :)

DH said the way the rice is presented brings a warmth and bless feeling..ahem...so signally...wife...u know what to do to my lunchbox :P...yeah, lately i haven't been really creative in the kitchen... :P Will gotta buck up on this area before DH get bored with my lunchboxes :)

Enjoy the pic...(o..sorry for my Muslim friends who are fasting....but you shall get your chance to feast on lovely meals soon during Raya...now who's having open house? I am planning to visit my Muslim friends during this festive season and also a good chance to introduce kids to the meaning and goodness of living in a multi-racial country!)

Cheers to all my friends!
