Family trip to Bird Park with Everyday Coupons!

Hi folks!

My family and I finally made the trip to Kuala Lumpur Bird Park - World Largest Free-Flight Walk-In Aviary! Yippee Yey!

We have been wanting to bring the kids to Bird Park for sometime. Thanks to Everyday Coupons, we managed to get the tickets for all at discounted price.

The kids being my model holding the everyday coupons we printed to redeem at the registration counter...it was fuss-free and duly acknowledge ;) with no hassles!

Here's the normal rate:

Special Admission Rate for MyKad Holder

ADULT                                                 : RM 20 only (Normal admission rate: RM 48)

CHILD (3 - 12 years old)                    : RM 10 only (Normal admission rate: RM 38)

With Everyday Coupons deal, we got it at half the special admission rate. A great savings for us considering we planned to go with my parents, siblings with their spouse and kids.

My Happiest Moment

Hi folks,

Recently, our (DH & I) good friends, one of our loving couple friends whom we knew since our 20's are going to set up their new nest. We will be attending their housewarming party.

One morning, as I wondered what we could get for their new place, I cannot help but reminisce the good old days when we are all still single and free-spirited. We all came from different places and got to know each other when we were volunteering in a youth camp. We would travel together in a van to scout for suitable places to hold the camp each year. And we would have rehearsals every week prior to the camp. We would compose our own theme song of the year and record it together in our own home studio.
As I listen the audio recording we have done many years back for the youth camp brings back such wonderful memories. Every snapshot and funny conversation we had flooded my thoughts throughout that entire morning drive to work. Tears of joy flowing down instantaneously. Those are the memories that will be with me and DH for many years to come.

We have attended each of our friends' wedding together, chat over pregnancy, parenthood, full moon, career, new places, dreams etc. Every meet up still means so much to us. We would talk non-stop till wee hours like the good old days, albeit our children sweating all around having their own good time, obviously missing their usual nap time.

Such are friends made for lifetime! Rare indeed. Every encounter with friends are not meant to be forever by default. It requires constant keeping-in-touch, keeping-in-mind and keeping-in-prayer that all are leading a safe and fulfilling life. These are friends who smile and cry together with us. And those time we spent together has been "My Happiest Moment" ever.

To all my lovely friends, may God be with you always, in everything you think, talk and do. May God blessings be with you all always and Friendship Forever!

Hi folks! I brought some baguette for breakfast, forgetting my avocado dip..found a raw honey instead as dipping sauce.. Hmm not bad..and when strawberry is dip in honey taste as good if not better than dipping in sugar or chocolate.. Give it a try ;)

More on Doulos Hope

Hi folks! During the Doulos Hope(Biggest Bookfair on Ship), it was so crowded that I nearly lost KY amongst crowd as she disappeared away to the cafe area to watch the clown show. She assisted the clown & got a lovely heart-shaped balloon which made up of 4 balloons.. Very memorable for her & me(standing@Information counter to shout for her!)

World Largest Bookfair on Ship, Then & Now

Hi folks! DH brought us to Doulos Hope last Sat. Brings back old memories when we last visited the former ship MV Doulos 8-9 yrs back when we went with a group of teenagers.. More pic & stories to tell in future entries.. For now.. Pic tells a thousand words ;)

A Gift of "Labor"

Hi folks, DH&I usually get clothes which don't need ironing as ironing is not a chore I like doing. The iron we have(a lucky draw gift) takes a long time to iron one clothes! So, recently DH got me this@MYR120(original price MYR199)..now the "ironing" labor seems much more faster & enjoyable!

Bookshelf Refurnished

Lately two of my neighbors got dengue. Due to the construction near our house, lotsa mozzies appear. In order to make my dark bookshelf turn "whiter" as mozzies seem to like hiding in dark places, I got these stick-on papers from Ace Hardware..MYR26 per roll..it looks brighter & lovelier now..

Now the phrase that caught my attention are "Young entrepreneur" and "Bird Park" as I am always keen on such entrepreneur event plus recently I bought Bird Park tickets for our family trip...

Event: Young Entrepreneur Camp 2011 (YEC2011)

Organiser: The Professional Excellence and Lifelong Learning Centre

Venue: KL Bird Park

Date: Nov 21-23 (day camp)

Objective: The YEC2011 is specially designed to educate kids on topics of entrepreneurship and business.

The camp will include:
- Mini competitions (The Big Wallet competition)
- Challenges (The Starbucks Challenge)
