First of All, I would like to wish everyone Happy Chinese New Year...

I have a good and enjoyable CNY this year...travelling back to my hometown visiting people i have not seen for at least 2 years....if not more...

Dengue on rise..Parents alert!

Reading the news on TheStar Online today about Govt declares war on dengue...makes my heart shudder...as my daughter recently got flu..hopefully she's getting better...now I am thinking what are the symptoms we should watch out for and what can we do to reduce the risk/breeding of mozzies...(aedes in particular).

They provide diagrams on prevention for residents staying in high-rise like condos and apartment and landed properties.

Do check out and take precaution as Chinese New Year (CNY) "balik kampung"-(home-going) trip is coming..we should all ensure our house water areas are not welcoming the mozzies...

CNY is coming.....New dresses for Mummy?

Hi all! Today i just had lunch with two of my buddies whom we have not met face-to-face(don count msn etc) despite staying less than 5mins away...that is how life can be dat hectic for urban folk with kids .. :) (Agreed?...I see hands-up and nods...hehe ;) ...

Milk calculator

Some of my mommies friends who are breastfeeding like me often thought and asked ourselves, " Is my baby drinking enough". And of course from many websites and articles we knew that one of the ways is by looking at the amount of wet diapers per day.

Today I found a rather more interesting and seems more convincing/clear way to check, that is by calculating with Milk Calculator.

We just need to insert in the weight(in pounds) , the number of feedings a day, we can get the actual amount needed(min, average and max). How cool and easy this is ;)
