Bookshelf Refurnished

Lately two of my neighbors got dengue. Due to the construction near our house, lotsa mozzies appear. In order to make my dark bookshelf turn "whiter" as mozzies seem to like hiding in dark places, I got these stick-on papers from Ace Hardware..MYR26 per roll..it looks brighter & lovelier now..

Young entrepreneur camp @ Bird Park

I saw this event at Parenthots.

Now the phrase that caught my attention are "Young entrepreneur" and "Bird Park" as I am always keen on such entrepreneur event plus recently I bought Bird Park tickets for our family trip...

Event: Young Entrepreneur Camp 2011 (YEC2011)

Organiser: The Professional Excellence and Lifelong Learning Centre

Venue: KL Bird Park

Date: Nov 21-23 (day camp)

Objective: The YEC2011 is specially designed to educate kids on topics of entrepreneurship and business.

The camp will include:
- Mini competitions (The Big Wallet competition)
- Challenges (The Starbucks Challenge)
- Fun demonstrations (The Soda Wars)
- Education trip to the KL Bird Park
- Mini workshops

Open for: Children aged 7 to 11

Fee : RM650 per person (there are group and alumni discounts)

Fruit Plate dip in Manuka Honey

My son loves strawberries but find it bit sour..solution, provided a big spoonful of Manuka honey as dipping sauce.. :)

Always hoping that the school could replace the heavy textbooks with ebooks...

World’s largest floating book fair, the MV Logos Hope at Klang, 29 Sept to 23 Oct.

Hi folks!

In the past I have visited the World's largest floating book fair carried in MV Doulos.

Now MV Logos Hope is the newest ship of Operation Mobilisation (OM), and replaces the MV Doulos which visited Malaysian waters for the last time in 2006.

It's a great experience for the kids to browse through books from all over the world and step on a ship!

Subway-inspired sandwich meal

Hi folks!

Discovered a new eating option while having late meeting at client site yesterday....very nice..

Been hearing about this famous Sandwich outlets but have not tried it...verdict: Thumbs-up!

A healthier choice for everyone and an option for vegetarian like me ;)

Right after that, I made this for DH as our lunch-pack...hope he likes it too!

(By the way, today is the 1st day of the start of 9 days vegetarian diet observe by many Buddhist during the Ninth Emperor Festival :) Good time to go on veg diet as you can find many yummy food and not to mention the big crowd at those vegetarian restaurant and cafe!)

Hi folks, am bz these few days making the last dash on a project thus the lack of updates. Here's one of the meal taken during these bz days besides the fried bananas as lunch..hmm guess I slim down a bit after the project..killing two birds with one stone..haha..but truly hope to be back exercising soon..till the next updates..here's roti canai+bananas+ice-cream ;)
