Subject: Poster

Hi

I opened the screen door yesterday and my cat got out and has been missing since then so I was wondering if you are not to busy you could make a poster for me. It has to be A4 and I will photocopy it and put it around my suburb this afternoon.

This is the only photo of her I have she answers to the name Missy and is black and white and about 8 months old. missing on Harper street and my phone number.
Thanks Shan.

Dear Shannon,
That is shocking news.
Although I have two clients expecting completed work this afternoon, I will, of course, drop everything and do whatever it takes to facilitate the speedy return of Missy.
Regards, David.

Dear Shannon,
Having worked with designers for a few years now, I would have assumed you understood, despite our vague suggestions otherwise, we do not welcome constructive criticism. I don't come downstairs and tell you how to send text messages, log onto Facebook and look out of the window. I have amended and attached the poster as per your instructions.

yeah can you do the poster or not? I just want a photo and the word lost and the telephone number and when and where she was lost and her name. Not like a movie poster or anything stupid. I have to leave early today. If it was your cat I would help you. Thanks.

Dear Shannon,
I don't have a cat. I once agreed to look after a friend's cat for a week but after he dropped it off at my apartment and explained the concept of kitty litter. I have attached the amended version of your poster as per your detailed instructions.

I know, but that one is cute. As Missy has quite possibly met any one of several violent ends, it is possible you might get a better cat out of this. If anybody calls and says "I haven't seen your orange cat but I did find a black and white one with its hind legs run over by a car, do you want it?" you can politely decline and save yourself a costly veterinarian bill.

Spain won over Germany in World Cup Semis!!!

Hi folks!

Wilkommen! Guten tag :)

I used to have German language courses at Goethe Institute last time and naturally I have a connection and better feeling over German.

However, I am not a strong football fans....I don't stay overnight to watch the goals, penalties and excitement.....

I only witness how strong the Football fever is when my fren told me he has taken leave over the days(or wee hours) when semis and final would be on!! And some even flew to Africa to watch it! Woo..ho...that's a hardcore fan allrite!

Do you watch the Worldcup with ur kids or hubby?

Are you a football fan?

Now, for those who supports Spanish team (same as the special Octopus which has predicted the Spanish would won the game!), Congrats...bet you all are jumping in joy...but if you are still working today...take heart to drive safely..drink your coffee if permitted and stay alert on the road!

Waka-Waka...Eh..Eh....(translated into Hokkien...sounds like "My leg, my leg..short short"...haha...a remarked I read in Kennysia.com)

Cheers to FootBall!

I wanna be The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Hi folks!

THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE will be coming to cinema on 22 July 2010!

Here's the Sypnosis:

Dave (JAY BARUCHEL) is just an average college student, or so it appears, until the sorcerer Balthazar Blake (NICOLAS CAGE) recruits him as his reluctant protégé and gives him a crash course in the art and science of magic. As he prepares for a battle against the forces of darkness in modern-day Manhattan, Dave finds it is going to take all of the courage he can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE.

poster

Now folks, I wanna be The Sorcerer's Apprentice so that I can pick up magical powers and with my new magical powers. I can transformed every single living beings, buildings, processes, vehicles to be green and natural.

All Living beings practice green ways like doing the 3Rs.

All buildings are built to conserve energy.

All govermnent and private sector promotes green approach such as telecommuting, work-from-home, less wastage, better education system, better transport system, better town planning and etc.

All vehicles to run on either solar, NGV or some kinda of green ways,...how about kinetic? :D

How about you? What do you want to do with your new magical power if you are The Sorcerer's Apprentice?

Have a creative and out-of-the-box thinking about it!  You'll be amazed by what is the mission or role you like to play on earth!

Cheers!

How to be Healthier?

Hi folks,

I read this somewhere last week....and love this quote!

A man who wants to be healthier should get a woman(wife/girlfriend).
A woman who wants to be healthier should get a girlfriend!

How true it is! 'Cos wife/girlfriend is the one who would keep tab on a man's health; e.g. for my case, I tried to reduce my hubby's soft drink intake as well as instant noodles :P

And, yep, having girlfriend does produces that "good" hormones that makes us healthier! So, don't feel guilty for taking time to spend chatting away with your girlfriends! It is as good as having a good meal and exercise!

Would you be my good blogger friends for that good hormones too?

Cheers!
