Toddler dies in bathtub

Hi folks,

I am sure many of us parents have heard of the danger of young children playing with water, even as shallow as it is...

When i saw the news today about a two-year-old girl was found drowned in a tub in a bathroom of a nursery in Paya Terubon, it makes my heart shudder.

Again we should never let down our guards, parents and caregivers alike.

Always teach the children to keep safe and babyproof their surrounding..

Ultraman Mebius Showdown

Ultraman fans can now get up close and personal with Ultraman Mebius and Ultraman Cosmos at the Ultraman Mebius Showdown. The ten-day event is filled with activites for the whole family. Snap photos with Ultraman Mebius and Ultraman Cosmos on June 3-5 and June 10-12 (1pm, 4pm & 7pm) at the Concourse Stage.

Catch the Ultraman Mebius movie screening from June 6-9 (3pm) for free. You can also purchase merchandises and figurines at the Ultraman Merchandise Fair from June 3-12. On June 11, kids (7-9 years old) can take part in the Ultraman Mebius Colouring Contest from 5.30pm.

Disney Junior is coming to town!

You better be good, you better watch out!

Disney Junior is coming to town....

If you are following Playhouse Disney(PHD) with your children, you might noticed somehow the stories are cater more for pre-schoolers from around 3-5. But sometimes, I do noticed children around 5-7 also needs such educational programme instead of the more mature type which is more for older kids age around 9-12. 

They are like in a transitional age. The PHD shows might be a tad little "childish" for them, yet those shows meant for 9-12 are a little too "mature" for them.

Thus, the people at Disney has come up with Disney Junior, a new channel brand which replaces the Playhouse Disney brand on ASTRO channel 613 on July 11, 2011. 

 

With the new programming, Disney Junior will not only appeal to preschoolers 2–5 years old, but also to older kids 6–7 years old, and their parents.

July 11, 2011 New Premieres!

First off...premiering alongside Disney Junior at 1.00pm is a brand new animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates - a music-filled interactive treasure hunt that introduces a crew of kid pirates, leader Jake and pals Izzy and Cubby, and follows their Never Land adventures as they work to outwit two infamous characters, the one and only Captain Hook and Smee from Disney’s classic Peter Pan.  The series teaches your little ones about teamwork, problem-solving and physical activity.  

Popular programs like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and Special Agent Oso will continue to air on Disney Junior. We can also look forward to new episodes of these shows, as well as brand new programs.

Aren't you excited of this new exciting changes to come?

I do, and especially after the preview of what's coming in year 2012 by the Nancy Kanter, the Sr. Vice President of Disney Junior Worldwide the other night together with  a group of lovely mommy bloggers....


I am looking forward to what's in store for us the coming year especially on "The Poem is..." which introduces well-liked poems to the children narrated by stars like Jennifer Gardner, Katie Holmes, Vanessa Williams, etc.
