Take a photo today (May 15) and share with the world!

Hi folks!

Have you heard of the  A-Photo-A-Day projects? Would you like the thought of saving a little something of yourself today for generations to come?

This initiative by Expressions of Humankind, a Swedish non-profit foundation and pick up your camera on today (May 15), to take a photograph representing your daily life.

In this interesting 'a-day-in-the-life' project, images collected from all over the world will create a unique online experience where your photographs will be shared, compared, and explored – preserved to inspire generations to come.

Everyone is invited to participate be it professionals, amateurs, school children, farmers, social media fans, astronauts, office workers and yes, you. Worried that you don't have the right equipment? Well don't – whether you own a Hasselblad or a smartphone camera, everyone with the perspective and enjoys taking photos are invited to take part!

All images will be displayed online for everyone to explore and appreciate and some of them will even be selected and printed for a book version entitled A Day in the World, which will be published in October 2012. Certain photos will also be shown in exhibitions – be it in print or digital form, but not for commercial purposes. Photos will be treated with care and respect and saved for future research and inspiration.

Upload yours now!

Cheers!
