Awesome Things I did 2014

Hi folks!

So fast, holiday is fast approaching and I will need to prepare the kids' school uniform, etc.
Just a recap on the awesome (or rather extra-ordinary) things or some items checked off from my Wish List (or Aspiration List) intentionally or unintentionally.

  1. I've CUT+dye my own hair for the entire year (okay, at least that is, if I do not step into any hair saloon till 31 Dec 2014). First time due to no time to drop-by the hair saloon (couldn't possibly bring baby along and snip my hair at the same time) and Chinese New Year is fast approaching. Chinese have the tradition of cutting/trimming our hair before the New Year day for good luck (or trimming away the bad luck). But I normally prefer to do it a month before CNY as most hair stylist will increase their price a month ahead of the CNY hair-trimming rush.
  2. I've bought my BREADMAKER and baked some bread and pizzas…yey…another one(which I hope to do before the year ends…that is to try baking a cake with it!)
  3. I cooked DHAL for my family twice..thanks to youtube and my friend who shared with me how easy it is to cook dhal. I am starting to love lentils!
  4. I've brought my kids on the plane for the first time…to local destination – LANGKAWI! Yippee yey…another list checked.
  5. I've bf my baby for a year now..and still going strong. Thank God for that.
  6. I've changed job, changed babysitter, and changed my lifestyle (with another car in the family helps!...lotsa more to do on "lifestyle change").
  7. I've bought foldable bike for the kids! This one is pretty new checked off item..yet to have more adventures with them.
  8. I've signed up the kids for swimming lessons. They really enjoyed it very much and the unintentional plus point is DH gets to do some exercise while accompanying them too!

What are your awesome items checked this year? Do share with me!

There are lots more things I hope to achieve..let's see if I get to fulfil them by year end.

Cheers!
