First chocolate cake baking attempt with Philips Pressure Cooker

Hi folks!

Yesterday I was feeling under the weather but it's my firstborn 10-year-old birthday. Not able to gather enough strength to drive out to buy her an eggless cake(her brother is has allergy to eggs), I googled for eggless chocolate cake recipe and managed to come up with my first edible eggless cake for her birthday (after napping for 5 hours) using my handy kitchen toy- Philips Pressure Cooker.

Here's some pictures of pur mini-celebration:

Breakfast for 3 year old ZS

Hi folks!

I love these containers with compartment. So do my kids as mommy could then give them a few selection of mix N match of their fav food to munch on.

Here's a mixture of organic gluten-free choco bear-shaped cookies, bananas and walnut cereals and passion fruits for his breakfast :)

Room makeover for two boys

Hi folks!

As KY is fast growing into her puberty, one of my goal this year is to move her brother out of her room.

In order to do that we have to get another wardrobe for the two boys to share. Thus, we got one sliding door Trysil wardrobe from Ikea@MYR799 during my Passion Day off(yep my company is so awesome that it gave every employee a Passion Day off day to do whatever they are passionate about...and I am passionate on room improvement and decoration) and finally get to install it during Raya break (yeah, without realizing later last weekend this wardrobe was on sale for only MYR579 during their member day sale!!! Oh we might not able to squeeze in to IKEA on their member day not to mention the wardrobe might be out of stock..so it's ok).

Little did we know me and DH took one day to fix this wardrobe(actually we started 11am on first day of Raya and continued the next day as it was really tiring :P as we have to practically move everything out of the room before we could start the installation.

My New Kitchen Toy and Well-being habit

Hi folks!

As age catching up, I find myself needed some nourishing soup and exercise regime to keep up with the responsibilities I have everyday.

Thus I invested this double boiler that can make single(or can be shared for 2 as well) porridge, 4 hard boiled eggs, desserts and nourishing soup.

I have been diligently using it to make some herbal soup(taste awesome! Just like those in the restaurant!) and desserts(yummy).

Exam Week prior to Raya break and more...

Hi folks!

Right now, KY is having her exam before the coming Raya holidays (next week).

June has been a month of celebration of sort for our family- my birthday, SE's birthday, my dad and niece birthday and of course Father's day!

What would you wish for on your special day? Frankly, I just hope for some ME time to go gym, to do some haircut and hair dye(yep, to cover my white hairs....what else..with the coming of age and ahem wisdom haha...).

So, when my hubby requested for his ME time on Father's day, we obliged and went ahead with me and my 3 kids to have lunch with my parents and family on Father's day and let him have 4-5 hours of ME time.

It's great to have some time off to rethink our priorities in life and to do some things for ourselves for once as it has always been for the kids and for us, as family of course this is only normal and nothing wrong about it.

As I couldn't take off on my birthday due to some meetings (in fact 6 meetings) scheduled at work on the day, I am grateful that I am able to take off the week after to do something which not entirely for myself but for my fast-growing children.

I spent the day clearing the study room to turned it into a boys' room as KY who's almost 10 this year, will need her own space and own room.

Thus I will be having some pre-loved and new items in fact to be sold off/given away. Stay tuned and I shall post some up here as well..mostly baby and household items :)

Cheers and till we catch up again!
