Hi folks!
How was your weekend?
We spent our weekend at leisure pace at my in-laws’ place. For a long time, I get to accompany my kids watching some of their favourite Disney show.
Talking about Disney show, there’ll be one very good one coming called Descendants. The premieres will be aired on this Sunday 13 September at 11am on Disney Channel (Astro Ch 615).
The storyline again, as with other Disney show is very meaningful. It is a not-to-be-missed show! Very interestingly as the show title- Descendants, it is stories that revolved around the descendants of Disney character that we all very familiar with like Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, etc. So for us adults even, it’s a déjà vu of sort while watching the show definitely!
If you have ever wondered what would happen if Disney's greatest Villains and Princesses had children like me, then you would find some insignts in this show!
In the idyllic kingdom of Auradon, Prince Ben, the benevolent teenaged son of the King and Queen (Beast and Belle from "Beauty and the Beast") is poised to take the throne. His first proclamation: offer a chance at redemption to Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay, the trouble-making offspring of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella de Vil and Jafar who have been imprisoned on the forbidden Isle of the Lost for 20 years. These villainous descendants are allowed into Auradon for the first time to attend prep school alongside the teenage progeny of Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Mulan. Only time will tell if these evil teens will follow in the footsteps of their wicked parents!
It has very good storyline and moral behind this show, which talks about goodness prevail over evil and that we have this very good part in each and every one of us if only we “LISTEN” to our hearts. In addition, the story also potrays the lesson on about teamwork, self-esteem and self-worth. And I truly felt that it’s a good very show especially for teens at their rebel stage and where most of them at this age are trying to look for their true identity at this rather confuse stage.
Directed by the Emmy Award-winning director and choreographer Kenny Ortega ("High School Musical”, so we can’t expect very much 'High School Musical' –like and great soundtracks which is something both my kids and I really adore.
And do tune in to Disney Channel (Astro Ch 615) this Sunday 13 September at 11am to catch the show! I can’t wait to view it with my kids!
Cheers!
