An Alarm-ing alert on the first day of the year

Hi folks!

How was your new year weekend?

My family joined our other closed friends for a short getaway at Cameron Highland...(more pic later..still at DH's phone).

But one sad thing happened, around 3am++, our car's window(driver's side) was smashed at a seemingly safest place in Malaysia, i.e. Cameron Highland...lucky thing was the car is still there(not stolen). In fact, there's nothing in the car to be stolen. It's more of an inconvenience(we have to forgo our plans for morning market shopping for fresh veges and flowers) and head straight home early on Sunday morning as it's not safe to drive around with the car exposed(without window on driver's seat).

One thing to note though, DH actually heard the alarm went off as he is sleeping near the entrance where we parked our car, but he thought it was him who accidentally press on the car key(as he was sleeping with the car key in his pocket) and shove it away and press it to switch off the noise(alarm).
Now, this sends a very important message/warning to us...to be aware+beware no matter where we are! Such thing can happened to anyone of us, anytime, anywhere!

So stay alert and there's no harm to have a sense of "investigativity-a.k.a Sherlock Holmes nature" to take one extra look or do one extra checking! Vigilance, vigilance!
Have a pleasant day everyone! Hope all of us(including the schooling kids) have a smooth day today as we start the first week of the year!
Cheers!
