Hi 👋 Folks!
After a rather short hiatus, I am finally back on my toes. Last week I injured my foot, the left side of my back and head when I fell down and hit on the chair while doing my spring cleaning.
My head was swollen, my foot was hurt with blue and black bruises marks and I hurt the left side of my back that I could literally feel the muscles moving when I speak to my kids.
Next, I was having toothache. So, it was a rather eventful week for me all right!
Luckily for me, I had my oils and all the eo learning comes in handy for me that I was able to put it into work immediately.
I applied the raindrops oils in sequence for the injury spots, followed with cold compress, tended to my swollen gums with Thieves eo and temporarily manage the toothache by applying cloves and copaiba while trying to call few dental clinics to make an appointments(you wouldn't wanna try visiting a dentist during year end! The crowd and queue was truly unimaginable!).
Next, I visited a TCM to get my back injury and overall health check together with my husband. Learnt something useful, after 48 hours, we could use hot compress on our bruises and never leave it unattended. The old wives remedy of using a hard-boiled eggs 🥚 to hot compress still valid and works.
Also, I was advised by the TCM to have my daily sweat 💦 out as working in air-cond room, our body tend to have less chance to sweat and thus was unable to release the dampness in our body effectively. This would eventually cause a lot of discomfort in our body.
Also, I have to take care of my liver as it also affects my spleen ..so am starting my liver detox(using JuvaCleanse, Citrus Fresh and Grapefruit essential oils; leave me a comments if you like to know the protocol) before CNY and I also aim to get my daily sweat check off from my list everyday💪
Two simple goals to start my year as I gradually improve my overall wellness inside out!
What about you all? What are your aspirations for the coming year? Hope you have give it a thought and I would love to hear from you all!
Let's be cheerleader for each other!
Have a healthy, awesome and fruitful year everyone!
