November 09 theme is "Cutest Baby in NATURE".

Here is KY(DOB: 25 July 2006) at the playground, garden, park, poolside. I used to bring her every weekend to the playground to get some fresh air and fun for both of us.

In the garden/park

At the park and poolside

At the park (just woke up, thus her slightly messy hair)

Enjoying herself at the playground

I am a very outdoor person whereas my DH is totally opposite. I felt being in the greenery helps to sooth our soul and nurture our physical too.

And I think those moment I cherish most when I was young is the weekly weekend jogging I used to have with my dad at the nearby park. It leaves a very happy and good memories for me. Thus I would love to let my daughter experience the same lovely feelings I have about the nature.

The natural healing power....terrific!!! There was one time I just finished work and my eyes was so tired. While waiting for someone to picked me to go out for some activities, I sat on the swing at the playground and just look at the grass. Wow the effect WAS AMAZING!!! It seems like I have slept for like an hour? My eyes no longer tired and I felt totally refreshed!

So I totally believe that being close to nature is good for everyone not only for babies....the only concern I have is the mozzies :P I think it is a common fear of all parents!! So just bring along your mozzies repellant gadget. Don't let your child lose the chance to enjoy being in the nature just because of the over-friendly mozzies!

Cheers!

One of my Favourite Hakka dish

Hi folks,

Is there any dish you won't get tired eating it over and over again?

For me it is Loi Cha, a typical Hakka dish made with young tea leaves, with crushed/mashed mint leaves, basil leaves and some other ingredients as paste to make the gravy/ greeny soup that goes with a bowl of rice coupled with freshly lightly boiled/stir-fry vegetables(at least 3 types of vegetables) with some peanuts, some add sweetcorn and even tofu.

Very yummy and nutritious dish. I used to eat it a lot while I was having very bad morning sickness during my first pregnancy. And it is one of the few dishes I don't threw up then...talking about being pregnant and the vomiting spells I had(You can check out more entries about me having Hyper Emesis Graviduram here, and here and here)

What is your favourite dish of all time?

National Consumer Complaint Centre

Hi folks,

Thought like to share a link with you. A link that I think some of us or many of us might find it useful as a consumer.

Though I certainly hope I won't need it but...if we need someone to assist to get back what we ought to as consumer, we can go to National Consumer Complaint Centre.

I learnt this site from another blogger who managed to get back his RM21 after making a complaint.

If you interested to know his story check out his blog entry here.

Favourite Quickie Yummy Dish

When I am with two kids at home and hubby is not around. The first
thing I do early in the morning is to make a pot of soup.

Then I have the choice of just make a pot of rice or noodles as the
lunch for me and kids.

Here is one of them. Soup base is from the soup I made earlier. And I
just add in some vegetables and etc.

This makes a wholesome and yummy dish for my family. All-time
favourite, soup with noodle or rice...

What is your quickie dish you love to make for your family?

Care to share?

Cheers!
